It's quite shocking the way they decided to do this.

UPDATE - Sorry people, the latest update is they are still saying 1-2 weeks before they hope to ship the dyes.  They admit they keep saying this but are hopeful the dyes will be shipped very soon x

I've managed to make my last order of Cherry Bomb and Nuclear Red stretch with some Adore dyes I had on hand, but if they don't manage to ship it by the end of March I'll have to figure something else out.

This global shortage is killing me. As soon as it's back in stock I'm buying Virgin Rose in bulk, I swear lol.

^ that, I've been roseless for over 6 months and I cant take it anymore 🙁

Im waiting too, want to try Hot Lava. I might get Blood Red instead and, roots are terrible. 🙂

The manufacturer of Special Effects decided to run down their stock for a move to new premises around October last year.  Since then they have various problems with labels etc and are in the process of making tons of all colours just now.  They have not been able to ship a full order to us for about 6 months so although we keep large stock of all colours, we too ran out of most dyes over the past few months.  There is light at the end of the tunnel tho as they should be shipping all colours again in the next few weeks 🙂

Latest Update 7th Feb

Just a quick update - they were hoping to be shipping this and next week but had a machine break down which has set them back again. My contact at SFX has said he apologises to all users of this brand and say's they are just as frustrated as we are and they want to get shipping again as soon as possible. He said they expected only a 2 month period of no shipping prior to the move but the new labels and machine issues has set them back even further and this type of situation should not happen again.

Sorry it's not better new folks, but at least he has confirmed they are on the verge of shipping and I am to contact them next week for a better update.

Maybe next time they'll rethink doing it this way! Here's hoping the don't have to move again for a long time lol
