If a forum moderator amends or removes your post this is usually because you are in breach of one or more of the forum rules (these can be seen here: http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=2.0). If you disagree with the amending or removal of your post you can contact the moderator who made the changes asking for the reasoning behind their amendment of your post. If you are then not happy with their reply you may contact me, as forum owner, through a private message and I will look into this for you. I should point out that the forum moderators do a wonderful job keeping the forum running smoothly and I am sure that the majority of times I will fully agree with their decisions in amending/removing posts.
What I will not tolerate however is people ignoring advice or warnings given by a Forum Moderator i.e. if some of your posts are removed and you are told not to post the same text in several different sections of the forum yet you continue to do this. This kind of behaviour undermines the forum rules and also means the forum moderators enforcement of these rules are being ignored. Repeated breaking of the rules can lead to a warning and/or permanent banning from this forum.
We would prefer not to have to block or ban any members but will take this action against people who are seen to be ignoring forum staff or moderators and who are repeating the same breaches over and over again. At present there are 3 moderators on the forum and I trust their judgement on these matters so expect their suggestions/warnings/advice to be listened to and acted upon.
