Flat Rate / One-Price Shipping ??

We are considering implementing a flat-rate postage set-up on Beeunique whereby there is one postage price no matter how much you order.  From our point of view there are big drawbacks of this as a customer would pay us £2.00 per order but often our costs would be 3 or 4 times that amount depending on what was ordered.  However it would make things much easier for the customer to know the exact postage price before purchasing (all postage costs can be seen on our delivery info page on the website but are currently based on order value).  Therefore we decided to ask the customers and forum members what they think and have started a poll/ thread on this forum asking for your views on flat-rate postage costs - this can be seen here: http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=496.0
