Hey, thank you all so much! π
Very very very lovely colour that suit you well! And I also love your chest piece. π
Thank you, Wanda! I just had the lettering touched up on Friday, so it's a bit red/inflamed. It's still a WIP... hoping to finish it up later this year with some background fill. π
I deffinately want to see the end result of your chest piece so please post pictures when it's ready! I love seeing different body mods on different people (personas) because they're making each of us more unique.
Cheers for all the lovely compliments! I'm surprised how well it's taken over the pink. In the sunlight, it is quite dimensional with some deeper blues and greens as well as some lighter shades. I'm really curious to see how it's going to fade. I'll update with fade pics in a couple of weeks. π
so ridiculously pretty! as is the colour π I'm so glad you went for it ♥
:-* thanks Pippa... now you've made me blush! xx
It came out a lovely colour π
Oh wow the lettering on your chest piece is exactly where I want mine. Do you mind if I steal your pic to show my tattoo fella?
Oh yeah the hair looks awesome too π

Thanks on the hair... and sure, I don't mind at all if you snag my pic to share with your tattoo artist. π
Such a beautiful result. Love the intensity.
Wow its beautiful! Really suits you! π

It's really not terribly difficult to do, tbh! It's time consuming, but not difficult is what I really ought to say.
I sectioned off what I knew I wanted to keep lighter, and then used a permanent salon black on the rest. You could use semipermanent to do the black, too.
To do this, I usually tie the top up with a bobble and some clips, then use a conditioner masque to protect it whilst I do the bottom shade. Once that's processed, I rinse it all and give it a good scrub. After that, I dry it up, section the top back off... conditioner masque the bottom and then proceed with dying the top. It helps to have a partner to help you with this... my OH is the best at this! π He's so patient with all of my hair adventures. π
If I'm retouching roots, it takes longer because you have to bleach the top, then rinse/shampoo... dry it up, section it off and then do the semipermanent colour. I don't find it to be too much of a hassle because honestly, my black can go sometimes 8-9 weeks without needing to retouch my roots since it's on the bottom and my natural colour is already quite dark... and that's only because the back is so short at the bottom that by the time 9 weeks rolls around, the black is almost all trimmed away.
Hope this helps?! π
I always like to see people with blue/turquoise hair because they're really stunning colours.
It looks really lovely on you also with the black hair underneath.
I'm a bit sad about the fact that these colours don't suit me very well.
Really great to see that it takes over the pink fade so well.
Thank you very much, Akina_Belfi! I wasn't sure I would suit blue, but I'm growing to really love it. And I have to say, this is the first colour I've had that I am loving the fade! π
ETA: the attached pic was taken 13 days after original colour. It's really holding well... and it's such a multi-tonal colour. It's not capturing well at all. There are hints of lighter blue, darker blue, turq and even some varying shades of green. π
