I'm another that doesn't suit pastels. I'm really fair-skinned but darker, jewel-tones also work best for me.
But Nova you look absolutely stunning!
Aww, thanks guys. π
Mindi yeah I get that, I get a few greys myself, and the y tend to show up like crazy on dark brown, with unnatural colors I can't see them, even with regrowth, so another perk of crazy colors! π And I think you're just generally smarter than I am because I did destroy my hair quite a few times in my quest for pastels. Although I'm lucky, I have lots of hair and with some serious babying it usually gets back to normal.
Cupcake I think I was looking through your timeline post at some point and I was thinking that all colors looked really good on you! But yeah it's all about feeling good in your own skin I guess, go with the colors you like on yourself. π Because now that I think about it, I did have this dark reddish pink once ( AP miscalcution before I knew you could dilute the stuff, live and learn I guess π ) and I really didn't like it on me!
Tabitha, thank you! And that violet looks really pretty on you, really cool bluish purple shade. π
But this was a little bit of a spur of the moment thing, I originally wanted this color for my underlayer and go darker blue on top like this ( that's me about 4 years ago, excuse the paleness, a winter in Belgium will do that to you. π I loved that shade but it did not last very long because MP just doesn't stick to my hair... what do you guys think, should I go for it when my SFX dyes get here?):
EDIT: yaaay my dye just got here, so excited! Gonna try and be patient and keep this color a week or two though, depending on how it fades π
I love the pastel, but I think that sapphire blue in the bottom pic suits you very well, too π
Thank you! π
I actually dyed my hair darker blue and green yesterday, I will try to post pictures later. π
so pretty!
