Heeeey last time you guys saw me I was fighting with my pink. I kind of vanished since then, I got caught up in some stuff and wasn't really focused on hair things...But I'm back! So I finally caved after a few failed attempts at avoiding bleach and tried the whole coconut oil before bleach bath method ( as I read about here http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=3806.0 )...it works wonders. It got rid of all the pink but my hair still felt lovely and soft.
Anyway, so I finally got my hair all pretty blue and green. I did my sidecut green, and then a chunk on the other side the same size green and the rest blue. I'm so happy π I used Adore for both, aquamarine and then a mix of aquamarine and sunshine yellow since they don't make a green and I already had the yellow on hand anyway from doing my sidecut rainbow.
Alright, enough talking, it's picture time! Tell me what you think?
And you can kind of see my sidecut here...
And a bonus picture of me holding my newborn niece <3 (and you can see the green better, it looks more yellow than it is in the other pictures...)
So pretty!
Looks gorgeous, that's what I waaantttt... Did you notice Aquamarine to be going green over yellow hair? What was your base? Does it look greener or more blue in real life? Thanks for posting!!
It is the bomb, and your baby is adorable!!! God bless
I love it!

My hair went pretty white, there wasn't any yellow tones under the pink really. But since I mixed the Aquamarine with not too much yellow to get green, I'd probably wager it probably would go green. It definitely looks like a turquoise blue in real life (well, the blue parts do, the little bits of green are like grass green). So I'd definitely try to get rid of any yellow before putting it on. Or maybe add a tiny bit of purple to help tone the yellow.
Thank you!
And thank you to everyone else too!!
Thank You for the info! π
