So I successfully achieved blonde hair, hurrah! But then about a day later (more like 2 months) I was once again drawn to Directions Turquoise. This time I mixed it with Directions Plum to fade into layers at the back. I got it cut very short as I planned with a shaved bit on the side. The first pics are the brand new cut but faded colour, the last pic is the re-dyed colour (complete with wonderfully asymmetrical face :D). I love it but only plan to keep it short for a few months before the epic journey of growing my hair back to waist length begins!

Ahh thanks everyone! 😀 <3 I still double take each time I run my hands through it and expect it to be longer! I'm going to start fading the turquoise again soon in time for a holiday in October so I don't turn the swimming pool even more blue! 😀
