Oh wow! You are so very skilled in colour combinations and working with what you've got! Every choice you make makes sense, haha. I could start picking favourites but then I'd have to pick like half your timeline. Well done! And inspiring, too.

so pretty! it does make sense to use the color wheel like that... I'll make sure to keep that i mind.
I hope you don't mind my asking, what sort of contacts do you use? They look really nice and natural!

Hee thank you πŸ™‚ I have bad eyesight so on occasion I use contacts. I'm glad they look natural, I think huge circle lenses are cute but I prefer them to be more or less natural looking when I'm the one wearing them πŸ™‚

For the grays and browns I use Peach Color P-Con lenses, and they are manufactured by EOS.

For the green ones I use Colorflex in Peppermint, but I don't have the info as I just walked into an optical store and bought them after I saw the display so I didn't look at the packaging before putting them on. πŸ˜€

Amazing to see the different colours you can get on black hair!

Not sure if this is the place to post but I've got similar hair to yours and I've just started dyeing my hair. I don't understand how I can do my roots whilst keeping my hair the same colour? Surely after dyeing black hair and it turning orangey, once I put a new colour on top, it'll look different to the rest of my hair?

Wow, such beautiful colours, I wish my hair would fade as prettily as yours, I tend to just end up murky & patchy, I think I need to pick up more tips & get better at this hair dying malarky, I guess I've just been too lazy in past. I was too busy having hair envy to notice the contacts at first, but looked back when someone mentioned it, & I love how you seem to match your eye colour to your hair, it really brings out the best in the colours. Just stunning. xxx

I've actually gotten used to my dark roots when they show up. If my current hair color is a dark, pigmented one, the black roots act like a gradient so it's not so bad. But If i have a light color, I just take note of all the processes I did to my lengths and do the same to the roots to get them looking more or less the same.

I've had a few hair updates πŸ˜€
my last photo on this timeline was an all-turquoise head, so when that started to fade I did this "eggplant head" look lol:

but that faded too and I suddenly missed my old hair color, so:

Colored my whole head black πŸ˜€ which is my natural hair color hehe

I haven't been able to update my timeline for a while because my head was black for a long while! πŸ˜€

Colored the tips when they faded:

when they faded again I colored the tips orange, blue, green & purple & yellow.

You can't see the yellow in the first photo but I found a photo with it tied up in a bun and the yellow shows up as a streak in the back. Sorry this photo is so.. collagey, I am hotlinking from lookbook.

when that faded:

did a mild bleach on the roots (9%), bleach bath on the tips. cerise on top, plum on the bottom, so this is what I have currently πŸ™‚
