VERY long and pic heavy timeline - goes all the way back to 1995!

I finally got around to trawling through my photos to find some pics for a timeline!  This doesn't by any means cover my whole hair history, just the pics that I could find.  This is going to be a massive long multi-post timeline because of the amount of photos I need to add, so I'll get started.  First of all, lets go all the way back to 1995 when I was 17-18!  First pics are a short blonde crop (I'm the one with the brighter blonde hair), then there were a few colours in between that I don't have pics of, then I got bored and shaved it all off.  Also included is a rather amusing picture of me with greenery on my head (it's not green hair, it's plants!).

I kept my hair shaved on and off for a fair few years, with quite a few colours in between when it had grown out a bit (sorry, no pics of this period), and going back to black box dyes as and when I needed to for work.  So fast forward to about 2003/2004, and I had long curly black hair (Note: I was also considerably thinner back then, and yes, I did used to smoke!):

Instalment #3 - I had a fringe cut in and had my hair chemically straightened for my wedding in 2006, still black though, and still fairly long:

After our wedding, I started experimenting with synthetic dreadlocks, both with and without a fringe:

Then a further chemical straightening mishap caused me to chop it all off into a pixie cut, which I dyed black and other various colour, but I only have a picture (and not a very good one!) of a sort of pinky/purply magenta kind of colour which I think was a mix of about 3 different stargazer colours.  Then once it had grown out a bit, I had the fringe cut back in and had some real dreads with human hair extenders added, and then dyed the fringe various shades of purple, red & turquoise (but only have pics of the red):

After the natural dreads got taken out, I went back to synthetic extensions for a while, then had more natural dreads put in, this time a bit longer and again with a fringe.  Then when this set of natural dreads got taken out, I had longish curly hair with a fringe, which I dyed with henna, then cut off again into a pixie crop, which went from henna to red, then to black:

Then I had the fringe put back in and went majicontrast red, then had some red synthetic extensions put in, then went purple for a while, then we come to the end of my timeline with my current hair - the natural dreads with multicoloured transitional ends.  So that's my hair history (in a nutshell, and excluding pics of the colours/styles I don't have any photos of!)

You pulled off the shaved head so amazingly well! Every so often, I really wish I had the guts to do it. You looked like Tank Girl! You're beautiful with all the hair configurations though, and I love your current dreads.

Funnily enough, that was in the 90's, around the time Tank Girl was popular!  And thank you!

You've had so many cool hairdos, it's really nice seeing such a long timeline. I love the shaved head and all your different dreads. You really pull off a fringe too, a skill I'm very jealous of!

I wish I suited piercings like you do!
