Update on previous timeline - 16/12/2013 (Pic Heavy)

You can tell you've been away from the forums too long when your previous timeline has been locked hahaha. To be fair I hadn't updated it in over a year and it occurred to me this morning that I wanted to compile all my hair colours together again. So if it's alright here's whats happened to my poor locks over the past year.

September 2012 Baby pink + purple

Started with intense atomic pink, but got bored of it as I do, and I wanted to try some pastels. Kept this for about nearly two months.

October 2012 Turquoise

Directions turquoise, love hate relationship with this colour. Beautiful but however I could never decide if it truly suited me. Kept it for a month before being approached on the train by a hairdresser who wanted to give me a free cut and colour for her hair competition she had coming up.

Novemeber 2012 Browny Purple

Hate hate hate hated it. Cut was awesome, got rid of all the dead ends and it looked lovely, however the colour was just so normal. Kept it for two weeks. Worst bit is it was my most complimented hair colour 🙁

December 2012 Decolour remover and then odd pinky purple and blue.

Decoloured my hair as soon as I could, got this base. Was tempted in keeping it as I always wanted to be blonde, however I messed up the colour by silver shampooing it and old bits of pink and turquoise poked through and it was just really weird. Kept for a day then changed to this.


It didn't take very well and the colour faded horribly.

January 2013 Blue and red

Sister turned to me one day and said... Can I dye your hair? So we raided our cupboard and found leftover midnight blue and Nuclear red, and she did this. Loved this, unfortunately the Red went a grotty colour as the blue ran into the red. Kept for around a month and a bit.

Febuary 2013 Pink, purple, blue and red.
Blue and red had faded nastily so I raided my cupboard and found a bunch of leftover pinks and purples, decided to mix them all together and dump it on my head. Got this result. Excuse the posey picture.

March 2013 Red
Kept the previous colour until the fade got unbearable, and knowing there was no way of recreating it, I decided to go red. Only kept it for a month as I got bored (Surprise) and everyone had red. One of my other most complimented colours aha.

April 2013 Orange. Then Orange and pink
Figured I was working my way around the colour wheel and decided, lets pull a Hayley williams. Went bright orange with the help of adore, then my sister grabbed some of my old pink extensions and some orange ones, and worked them into my hair. Oh extensions my love, we were never apart after that. Unfortunately the orange faded quicker than I would've liked, otherwise i'd have kept this longer than just a month.

Ahh, loved this one, kept this for around 2 months. A mix of SFX Blue Velvet, Stargazer Tropical Green, and Directions Violet. And a silly picture of a fauxhawk I created for one of my gigs.

July 2013
For my birthday I decided I wanted to try cruellas. This is Adore's violet gem and Directions Turquoise, didn't keep this one for long as I didn't like it that much.

August 2013 to now, purple and black
Probably the longest colour I've kept since pink. Standard box dye black and directions violet. Love this one, so fun to play with. Recently started cornrowing the side of my head.

And that's the end of my hair year 🙂 Going to get rid of the purple and black in favour for a reverse ombre in the new year, just deciding whether I want reverse blue, purple or pink.
