I don't often add my pics online but here's a small timeline:
Taken years ago before I was married (cut ex from pic but his hand remains lol). I was in my blonde phase and used Nice n Easy Permanent Dye at the time and tried just about every blonde shade they had including platinum which made me look like a ghost! Sorry for poor quality pic but is a scanned in photo as digital cameras were not the norm back then (yes we had electricity :D)
I then went through various blonde shades of Nice N Easy and had a soft perm
I then went through a brunette phase and this colour was Garnier Nutrisse Morello Cherry β it starts deep reddish brown and fades to plain brown shade - the pic shows the dull brown shade and it was not long after this that Cari (tartandiva) introduced me to Special Effects dyes π π π
I dislike this pic but it shows off the style of my hair best at this time β main part of my hair was dyed brown with the front and underneath bleached then Special Effects Atomic Pink applied all over hair - brown parts went burgundy and bleached parts went normal neon pink.
This was me last year in Dexters at a Buck Rogers gig (who I can highly recommend to anyone in or around Dundee). I was growing my hair at the time and it was Atomic Pink over bleached and brown hair as before, with the brown parts going a nice burgundy shade when the Atomic Pink was applied.
This was in Jan this year, as you can see I got fed up of growing my hair and had it all chopped off β it was quite long at the time so I sometimes regret it and am already growing it again :D. Same colours as previous pic β Atomic Pink over bleached and unbleached hair.
The parts where I apply Atomic Pink over the brown hair tends to fade in around 3-4 weeks whereas on the bleached parts it stays good for about 3-4 months and even then is only a lighter pink shade. As I have brown hair on top I donβt need to worry so much about my roots showing unless I wear my hair up.
I will try to find some pics of the other colours Iβve tried but I always go back to Atomic Pink so most pics show that.
Just tried Atomic Pink & Nuclear Red mixed (4 parts atomic to 1 part red).
Gives a very bright red result but with a pink hue unlike Nuclear Red on its own.
Loving that atomic pink mixed with the nuclear red, very nice. P.S. I think that Martyn looks better now than he did in that pic 15 years ago π
He would be better still with blue hair and beard but i'm still working on that - 5 years on his family are finally getting used to me with pink hair so it may be time to freak them out again with him going blue! ;D
Great mix! Haha I hope you can convince him to go blue π
Blue would suit him! can't you attack him in his sleep?

ahahahah, nice sugestion! π
Ooooooohhhh! I remember Nutrisse Morello Cherry! I used to dye my hair that colour years and years ago (when I worked in a job that wouldn't allow 'unnatural' colours). *spends blissful few moments reminiscing about being 21 again* Used to have to re-do it every 2-3 weeks or so to get it to stay reddish! I'm so glad I discovered SFX! (And have an employer that doesn't mind brightly coloured hair!)
you look beautiful in that pic nickki =) really happy
hahaha - thanks π
I was very happy - was my cousins 31st and was first proper night out with the girls since being single and I had a ball. Even if I was only drinking water lol.
i love the pinky tips =D

Heheheh - thats because my roots are about 3 inches long so only ends are pink now. Not to worry it's being bleached soon and will be a lot more pink again then π
Update - this thread/topic may read a bit funny as I have removed the pics of my ex from this thread. Seemed silly to keep them on my hair timeline when we are divorcing lol.
Looking great nickki π
~claps~ Loving the picture Nickki. Glad you had a good time, you deserve it.
