A time line is a great idea, thanks Nickki.
I'll just give it a try here and hope at some stage I will get around to put one up on my poorly neglected blog.
Easter 2009
At the age of 32 I finally am brave enough to dye!
Colour: Directions Apple Green
Halloween 2009
Another Bank Holiday and I decided the green is getting 'old'.
Colour: Directions Atlantic Blue
December 2009
For a charity event in my Company I agree to have my head shaved.
Colour: All gone...
February 2010
Stubble is growing nicely and a bit of colour is wanted again..
Colour: Directions Mandarin
Hair Length: 1.80 cm
I want to change from Mandarin quiet soon, aka first March weekend 2010 for 2 reasons:
1. Because I live in Dublin & it's St Patrick's Day soon.
I don't want to be thought off as a person that dyes her hair green or orange just for a holiday. π
I'm weird that way...
2. Because the Mad Hatter in the new Alice in Wonderland has Orange Hair.
Again as above I don't want to 'conform'. π
March/April 2010
First time two-toned. Actually three, given that the dark bits are mixed
Colour: Directions Turquoise, Directions Ebony, Stargazer Silverlook
Hair Length: 2-4 cm
May/June 2010
This Turquoise is a really great colour π
Colour: Directions Turquoise
Hair Length: 5-8 cm
June 2010
tricky colour to take photos of - It shows up as blue on the pics with most cameras & light-conditions!
Colour: Directions Alpine Green
Hair Length: 5-8 cm
-no pic yet-
August 2010
Colour: Directions Alpine Green & Directions Apple Green 50/50
Hair Length: ~5 cm
[move]Future Plans:[/move]
Colour: ?
I've got a lot of Directions Alpine Green & Apple Green 50/50 mix to go through and I do like the colour quiet a bit.
Will post pictures soon, going on holidays tomorrow so hopefully will have some nice ones π
<3 this! Great idea. You rock the green by the way!
Thank you π
I liked the green best so far, especially cause it did not stain my hands all the time as the blue does.
But co-workers keep on telling me that the blue suits me better.
At some stage I'll try Directions Alpine Green or Manic Panic Enchanted Forest as I think they both are kinda blue-ish green...
ok, my hair is at the moment really bright yellow.
was trying to go for White but apparently my hair had other ideas.
The question now is, what colour should I go for next?
I set up a little poll on polldaddy, so please feel free to vote if you like.
Here's the poll embedded in Facebook:

Would appreciate all votes π
Cool colours there Eehad! I can't believe how good you looked with your head shaved! I tried that once and it looked awful on me.
I've just finished making a doll that looks like me so I'd better not change my look for a while. π
I was actually surprised myself that I could pull off a shaved head.
As said it was done for charity & knowing that I'm overweight I assumed I'd end up with a 'Full Moon'-Face.
But I decided it was worth it & ended up with tons of people telling me that it actually suits me.
One co-worker even keeps on insisting it makes me look younger o_O π
But please don't forget to vote in my poll:

Voted! Yeah your face does look younger with no hair but even with dyed hair you still look good hun, keep rockin' the colour!
I love the green hair! Ahhhh! π
That might just be my next stop π
I can only recommend it! Green is great!
It's more unusual then blue or red
doesn't dye your fingers and neck as much as blue does
your roots don't show as much as with brighter colours...
Oh I so have to go back to green myself sometime! π
;D I picked turquoise (hope it is ok to say that ) I LOVE the green that is awesome and the orange reminds me of those sweet nerf squeezy basketballs hehe. Does everyone want to touch your hair when it is so soft like that?
sorry I haven't updated this in ages...
I went ahead with the Cheshire now.
1. white hair (Stargazer Bleach)
2. Directions Silver (20 minutes - no real effect)
3. Friends free-handing the stripes onto my head with Directions Turquoise
4. Filling the gaps between the turquoise with a mixture of 70% Silver / 30% Ebony
5. Watching the Sivler-Ebony fade to grey over the weeks while turquoise stays strong π
Pretty happy with the results π
OMG - I love it and your right that the grey faded and the turquoise stayed so strong!
(incase anyone does not notice it - as well as the pic in the above post a new pic showing the grey/turquoise has been added to the first post also).
For the last weeks I was Directions Turquoise
sorry for the phony pic ::)
And then this weekend I over-bleached my hair.
Totally my fault but luckily nothing too bad happened.
A lot of frizz came out though.. but the result was a staggering white..
I then proceeded to use Directions Alpine Green and boy is that colour tricky.
Not in applying or anything - but in taking photos of!
It looks dark green / blueish-green. But no matter in what light or with what camera I take a pic, they always make it look completely blue!!
Here's the proof:
This is what the colour looks like to the camera under halogen light:
And this is taken with the same camera in natural light:
In reality it looks just a bit darker then the second pic
Either Flickr has a problem or I do, I can't see your pics, only a sign from Flickr sayng the picture is unavailable. π
Same here - no pics π
