Made my first order today for some Pimpin Purple now the snow has let up, but for now my transition from a dull permanent world to the brightly coloured world of semiperma! =D

Natural hair....I can’t find a picture of mine anyway which is a positive.. so I’ll post this pic of my little sister (+ my baby bunneh) as it’s pretty much a match!

2003 - 2004: XXL Black - I really didn't like this, too dark for my pale skin but this is the only picture I can find (which says it all really!! I'm the one on the left with a mad grin...)

2004 - 2006: XXL Deep Purple

2006 - 2007: XXL Bright Red - I loved this colour and it stayed for a while hehe

2007: XXL Dark Red

2007: Red, with dreads I made in : Burgandy, bright red, black (mixture of solids, mixed, and transitions)

I did toy with this, however just went for a wig at the time, however I may revisit this one day after seeing some rather similar colours on here!

2008: Bright Ginger - bleached the red to a gingery colour, however my idea to find a ginger/orange dye to suit this didn't fall into place and this went very quickly πŸ™

2008: Dark Ginger: Clairol - this was only briefly produced and they then left me with the choice of either a blah ginger or a new hair colour...

2008: So I tried the other ginger, it was ok... just ok..

2009: ROGUE! Red Mahogany/XXL Absolute Platinum <-- first app

2009: More gingery red, and second app of the abs platinum blonde (Glam rock night!)

2010: I dyed it brown. A very nasty brown. That I am far too ashamed off to post a picture.

So ..................... I had it all lopped off and highlighted to start going blonde!!

2010: Blonde transitional stage, with my brunette fringe...

Suddenly Directions neon blue! =D

Fading blue...

Brought back my XXL Red

Extensions

But it got dull far too quickly... =

I’m going to go mad with the Purple so will update when have that done! =D

Gorgeous!!!  With Blonde hair you really look like Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall!).  You are lucky you look like you could pull off any colour.

Aww thankies =)
I was really worried when I tried blue, only did it after I had a peek at some on here to see if anyone else could pull it off and was suprised then took the plunge.
Really desperate to try Iguana Green but everyone keeps talking me out of it... that and alot of people say it fades easily because of its colour base?

I do miss the red but everyones going red now thanks to XXL becoming popular =
Though once I've got the purple going I may look at a cherry red or something to mix in as a bit of a transition?

It's hard to say which colour suits you best, you look great in all of the photo's! As a dread head myself I suppose I'd better say I love your synth's. Now at least I feel that I've represented my dreadness, lol!

Cheers Matty! I miss my dreads however my other half has put a ban on me ever having them again. Compromise of course, not just one sided haha πŸ˜‰
Contemplating getting back into it as alot of people keep complaining that alot of dreads being sold aren't upto standard. Just need to get my kit from back home, find my adapter plug for my end sealer too =

Phee. I'm dying to try something similar to that oceanic scheme you've done with your extensions but I think the dark blue is my limit with blues unfortunately, though considering mixing your light aqua colour in with igauna green at some point, the colour yours has come out as looks like it'd suit that green.. hmm!!

Well spent Saturday in my bleaching chair to get the red gone, so far it's not too bad. It's just a light ginger/orange. It is noticble but it's not actually too bad! Going to use a less harmful cremebased Garnier blonde dye to finish it off tomorrow, Chuck some toner on and then attempt to purple on Thursday! Also have my toner to lighten some of the purple. What I want to do looks gorgeous however I need to get it right first time really! uhoh... hehe!

Pimpin Purple - phone pics only so it's hard to see the light purple transition easily but you get the idea! Eeeeeee!! I personally love it, and although it's a little bit messy it works. Now I've figured out what to do future wise the next time I put the purple in should be a breeze hehe!
