I havent been dying my hair since 14, I'm dark brown naturally - my first venture was a hilarious one, with bleach(on the right)
From there I dyed my hair different shades of box red (anyone remember Herbal Essenses Hair dye? - loved that lol!!) but eventually went back black/dark brown. Black was always my "go-to" colour and I'd jazz it up with extensions
And then i signed up here and thats probably when i went a bit mad *rofl*
My first attempt, I think it was Rusk (now Ion Colour Flash) Real Red on top of something. It wasnt quite me though
So i popped black on top
And then eventually lightened the red to pink (Pinkissamo on a darkish bleach base) It came out a red/pink, but nice colour in the light/flash. i had fun pinning it up and trying out new things while I waited for my second baby to arrive
and gradually lost some of it to black again....and a flash of blue
And then i couldnt keep up with dying it and looking after a toddler and newborn *rofl* so back to black with extensions
And I had about enough eventually, so this year I have gone to red,(crazy colour fire mainly) to SFX atomic pink
I do love the Atomic Pink, especially its fade , and how long it lasts, so this is where I am sticking, as its a far cry from black.

You suit all of the colours so well! I do like the contrast of the black and the white in the third one. 🙂

I dont think i could ever go back to black, im having too much fun and it took me months of lightening and care to get here! (and loads of money :/ I have no friends to help.)
Luckily I taught hubby how to do my roots like i was taught in my salon days and he does it all now! No patches 😀
Hair aside it's nice seeing your kid grow up in all the piccies too haha
Haha I thought the oldest (the teeney tiny one in the NICU picture) would never grow up, but she sure has and is 4 now!
