This was my original hair before it was dyed. Everytime I went to a hairdresser they would always compliment me on my hair colour, and that people pay a fortune to get their hair my colour. π
So I decided to bleach it so I could go a very vibrant pink! But *boo*
Made a post in the bleaching horror stories thread about my experience. But heres a picture of what it looked like (september).
So 3 hours and Β£100+ later I come out with this...and I loved it *loveeyes* - October 2015
So...this is what it was like at the beginning of December. I used Bleach Londons Rose to maintain the colour but thanks to useful forum tips I don't need to purchase this π I wanted to have it done fresh for when I met my family at Christmas.
The hairdresser added a touch of purple because she didn't have the correct amount of a certain dye π I did grow to like it. - Demember 7 2015
Loved that when the intensity faded the purple and pink showed through...
Now, as you can imagine....a Β£100 for a dye, getting my roots done and a haircut is a hell of alot of money and it is harder to keep ontop of it. The next picture is me at the end of Febuary 2016.
So, on march 1st 2016 I booked myself into the local college to be done by a student stylist! My roots, full colour, cut, blow dry and strighten (about 4 hours of her time) - Β£26! Local colleges that teach hairdressing are always looking for models, and it is so much cheaper than going to a salon! She did a good job although I don't think I specified just how pink I really wanted it plus she had never done a pink dye like that before.
So, about 10 days after my appointment, I dug out the 2 bottles of crazy colour I had invested in the previous year. I used them both, and have added some to my conditioner. Heres the results....
Sooooo.....what do you guys think??
This is a few pics taken yesterday, there were a couple of good ones but thought I had better keep them clean an in the law hahaha....
Will keep you all updated! Let me know what you guys think π
