Thought I'd post photos of my timeline 🙂 I didn't do any permanent dye prior to being 14 because that was my mums rule 🙂
First photo, my natural colour when was :
When I was 14 I dyed it black and got it cut shorter
And then shorter.. ((please ignore the lame attempt at goth, me and my friend thom had been playing with makeup :)))
It grew out a bit and I got over the black hair and decided to go blonde.. naturally without a colour stripper, so I went mahogany (actually loved this colour)
Bright ginger (grew to love it :3)
And then a horrible half blonde, half ginger.. ick!

Cut off all the orange and ended up strawberry blonde
Then went on holiday and it got rid of the remaining orange 🙂
Christmas 07 hair :), magenta by stargazer
Then got bored, faded it and used a mahogany shaders and toners on it for a lush peach colour 
Then, in March I dyed my hair brown again.
Cut it short in april..
Decided I looked too much like my brother with normal hair, and had gotten a loriel feria red for christmas:

In June It was prom so I went blonde again
In the summer I put orange streaks in using a superdrug 'rich red' toner 🙂
In October I went Magenta again
Then It was boring me in January, and my friend was going to take photos of me so I used a Live XXL Purple
Which faded fast because it was over a bleached base, so put stargazer royal blue over the top in February..
Then In March I went brown.. again
I did put a bit of colour in my fringe though (did magenta and african green, but only have photos of magenta)

In September I went magenta again
Which faded/ was cut out to this horrific colour..
After that I went blonde again, ((this brings us up to about november 2009))
Then, I went brown and boring for a year or so, had a bit of colour but nothing notable.
Had Blue fringe in October time,
Then in March I started dying hair again,
Did MP hot hot pink and shocking blue with a mystic heather undercut
and then midnight blue by directions (with a little bit of cerise to make some purple tones) with a crazy colour pinkissimo undercut.

how were you going from brown to another color? Were you bleaching again each time? It's a good thing you keep your hair short!

I have been mostly logical luckily, not touching my hair with peroxide products for a month in between (except for the stupid period from black --> blonde!)
Because my hair is so short I have total hair refreshes a lot faster, so yes, I am lucky in that respect (damaged hair is gone pretty quickly 🙂 ) but this timeline also covers about..5 years, so I'm not quite so bad as it looks 🙂
