Long, embarrassing timeline!

Anyone else cringe when they look back, sometimes? Haha.

I'm naturally auburn and hated it since I was little. I've veered between black and red mostly, over the years. Usually with some clip in extentions. I decided to go a bit mental this past year, then regretted it and tried to go back to my natural colour. I'm bored of it now and about to hit the bleach on saturday to see what happens. So...

For ages I went between red and black, or a mix. Excuse posery pics, these little collages were made ages ago!

The red is either directions pillarbox red, or rose red, or a mix. I found stargazer reds useless and had never heard of manic panic.

Bored of red, I tried orange. I wanted an almost peachy shade. I never got it!

But I could never get my hair and my extentions to colour match and could afford to keep dying them both, and it was annoying. In a fit of madness I put some blue over the top. (of orange?! what was I even thinking?!)

But that nice navyish blue faded to this slightly mucky blue

And then this

A re-dye with a different blue, but it was just too dark/greeny. So I bleached it again to hopefully go a brighter blue. I did not like blonde, especially blonde with bits of yellow/blue all over.

I thought while I was that light I might as well go lavender.

But I wasn't happy with the patchy result. I let it fade and went a bit pink.

I decided I didn't suit light hair and did a cruella.

Then a blue cruella.

All this hairdying was doing my head in and I decided to go back ginger. I used that colour stripper to fade the blue and black a little (didn't really work too well on me to be honest), and went ginger.

Got bored quick...back to red...

And then I was bloody sick of hair extentions, well and truly, and decided to bite the bullet and just cut my straggly ends off and have a bob and put a darker ginger over it.

And that's how it is at the moment! It's a lot lighter though, and grown out a bit. It's dark at the front where my old cruella bit was; dark brown I'd say. I do prefer my hair longer but I just can't be bothered with trying to colour match and dye my extentions all the time right now. Plus I sort of like having a space age/wiggy bob, kinda wish I'd done it sooner.

BUT! Now I'm bored and hitting the bleach on saturday. I'm thinking 2 bleaches followed by either manic panic electric lava or directions turquoise, depending on how it lifts. Or I might bring cruella back if it goes light enough, but I have my doubts! We shall see!
