CUTE! love the curls
Thanks guys. Do you think its light enough to tone it to white yet?
yea id use a violet semi dye diluted probably. there is a thread somewhere with a great toner in it but i cant find it atm. maybe someone can remember. a member used it on a client to get wihte hair it was loreal maybe? and called frosty milkshake or something like that.
Nicee, yeah I really wanna get some violet and dilute it for a silvery purple look, I wanna get extensions too. Are clip in extensions damaging at all? like from the clips or something? I dont get paid until Nov. 12th though, so I have to keep using just the purple shampoo until then.
Extensions can be damaging when used repeatedly, as can any mechanical action against the hair ... tying it back regularly can cause breakage at the point of the tie, for example. Mechanical damage happens more quickly when the hair is already weak and structurally damaged.
It was Gothicle that used the frosty milkshake toner on the model Alice La Vie. And it was awesome! I also used this toner after, and it made my hair a very nice silver. BUT, it's the type of toner that requires mixing with it's own peroxide, so I wouldn't advise it to you whaddupimsamm, because of the damage you had before.
In my opinion (and lots of others on here) the best way to get silver hair is to use Bonacure Silver Shampoo. And if you leave it on a little longer on your hair, it goes slightly purpley.
Hair extensions - I've always been a big fan of the clip ins, most of my pics on here I am wearing them. However, I've recently stopped using them and my hair is much stronger. I hadn't realised how the weight and the clips had been damaging my hair. Since not wearing them my hair has grown really fast. So, if your hair is brittle (snapping at all) or weak, then I'd advise against them. But if not, then I'd say make sure you get some with decent clips that won't pull your hair, and that are big enough to take the weight of the hair.
