We have noticed that some features on the forum may not look 100% right if you are viewing using Internet Explorer 8 - for example when you are typing a post and the text exceeds the posting box it will start 'jumping' and you will be unable to see what you are typing properly without continually scrolling down. This is a common problem with IE8 and can be solved by clicking the compatibility button (shown in image below) which is between to your web address bar and the refresh button at the top of the page. Clicking this button lets you view any webpage as if you were using IE7 and clicking it again will let you jump back into IE8. Some websites may require you to login again or to refresh the page for the changes to update. Please note this compatibility issue is not limited to forums and is affecting many other applications also so its a handy trick to know.

NOTE - if you do use the compatibility button save your text first (Ctrl+C or Edit>Copy) as clicking the compatibility button may refresh the page and therefore clear out all text you had in the text box.
