I can't do it on mine either. I think it's because the form uses some sort of flash player. Best thing to to is get a photobucket account and download their app, it's really good.

Yeah ive got the photobucket app it is good, i use it on another forum, just wondering if that was on the only way. Ill just have to post more lol to be able to post the photobucket link 🙂

I've had a look into this and it's a standard setting with Apple IOS i'm afraid - it may allow you to add photos on some websites but others, like this smf one, it won't work on. 

In the meantime please feel free to PM a link to a Moderator or myself and we can add it into a post for you.

Hi nicki, thanks for that i kinda thought it would be an apple software issue, i know some forum hosts do have an ipad app that allows you to use the full features. But i think ive got enough posts to post a link from my ipad now 😀 yay lol

The only app we have just now is tapatalk as a member requested it, but its a pay-for app so not everybody has it and I could not say for sure if it allows photos to be uploaded.  I am always looking at ways to improve the forum and gallery etc so will put Forums/Iphone/Ipad apps on my to be looked into list 🙂

Ah cool, could be worth doing a poll to see how many people actually use the forum on an apple device :), ive managed to post a link from my ipad using the photobucket app although its for iphone it works fine on my ipad 🙂

I just got the tapatalk app. Looks like you can use it to upload photos. But I've not tested it to see how it works yet.

Yeah, but what it's doing is uploading the photo to tapatalk, then auto adding the image HTML to add it as an embedded linked photo. Now, I don't know if that would then mean a get around on the no links for less than X amount of posts thing, meaning people can still post pics, I guess that's what the forum is doing anyway when it uploads. But it does mean that the hairdyeforum.com watermark doesn't appear.

Apple are bringing out iOS 6 this autumn, maybe that will improve things. OH andd you can get Siri on your iPad with it toooo :3

Is it going to still be supported on the first ipad? If it is, I bet the next one won't. I wish they'd slow down a bit on bringing out new ones. I never want to buy the new one because it's only going to be a year or so before another new one is out lol

Im still on my ipad one and tbh, i wouldnt swap it, i dont use it for video calling etc so i didnt bother 🙂
