Change Avatar

Go into your profile, click on forum profile information and then you can choose one of the avatars on file or upload your own.

I selected an avatar and it just disappears when I clcik 'change profile' ?

Is it one of the avatars we have on the forum or are you uploading your own?  Both should work fine but if you are using one of ours please let me know which one and I will try to add it to your profile at this end if I can.

Added it for you - not sure what was wrong with it but saved it to desktop then uploaded it and it worked fine.  I will have a check through the avatars to make sure there are no other odd ones like that.

I just think my current avatar is hard to read.

Hi the max size is normally 100x100 but for some reason the setting had changed to 65x65 *scratches head on that one* lol.  I have changed it to 120 max dimension so if you retry uploading your avatar it should show larger as its currently 40x65 on your post above.

Weird about the 65x65 setting!

I know, I think its some default setting so when I upgraded something on the forum it reverted back, thats the only thing I can think of, but will keep an eye on it 🙂

hey i know this is an old thread but i am having problem uploading my avatar as well, i have shrunk it really tiny but itshaving non of it! 🙁 any help would be appreciated x

Hi gwiglet, I take it you're using one of your own? Are you shrinking it with photoshop or some other tool? As long as it's 100x100 pixels (or less) it should do fine. Make sure it's a jpeg too. If you're still having trouble contact me or Nickki and we'll help.
