Yesterday, I finally plucked up the courage to shave in an undercut, and cut my own hair.
Before, to show both the length and the thickness of my hair...
Sectioning my hair was really difficult because I'm somewhat cack-handed, but I managed to get it reasonably level...
I cut my hair afterwards by following the advice someone posted here a while back (can't remember who, sorry), of putting my hair in a ponytail at the top of my head and cutting straight across. However, I messed up somewhat by having the ponytail too far back and cutting too much off, leaving me with really steep, shaggy layers. I don't have any pictures of this, because a friend of mine then restyled it completely, leaving me with this...
It feels really strange, and is a lot shorter than I would have liked, but well, hair grows, and practice makes perfect when it comes to cutting π I like this style more than I imagined I would, and my hair is in extremely good condition; I did a double clarifying shampoo, with no oils or conditioners and let it dry naturally, and it's really, really soft. I think that I could be ready to bleach it after just a few more conditioning treatments π
that looks great π what lovely shiny hair!
first time i did the ponytail haircut i didnt put it high enough up. you literally have to look like a teletubby and it works amazing.
That's a really cute a-line bob, even if it wasn't what you intended at first!
Love the cut and undercut, such healthy looking hair.....well done π
I love it! It's what i've had done a few times now & decided to have done again. You suit it well.
Thanks girls π
I'm really impressed that you managed to do that yourself! I hack off my split ends every few weeks but that's as far as my expertise goes.
Thanks π My friend did the actual haircut for me, but it was the first time he'd ever attempted cutting anyone's hair but his own π
I really like the style on you! It suits you well... π
Thanks π
Yay for virgin hair, it looks awesome and shiny!
Just cut off my last few bits of bleached hair and now it's all soft and healthy stuff, no need for conditioner/masks etc.
(now it probably won't stay virgin/unbleached for that long ahah)
Thanks π Although mine isn't quite virgin any more, I put a Stargazer red over my virgin base and a good few weeks on I'm having a hell of a time shifting it π Still lovely and soft though, without any need to condition even after a double clarifying shampoo π
