I decided to go for the chop! Didn't get as much off as I was intending, but I'll probably go shorter next time. They're horrible photos because if the lack of light, but here goes π
Wow, that's lovely! I envy the thickness of your hair, it looks so full and lush. Loving the layers in the back.
(ps. your necklace is ace!)
AHHH I love that kind of fringe! There's a girl on instagram (@Shrinkle) with a fringe like that and I've been wanting it ever since I first saw her but I don't think it would work with my face shape. It looks fabulous on you though, I love this on you! It looks great π
This is simply adorable on you... I love it! π
Thank you!
Rij, the necklace is from www.sugarandvicedesigns.com as a special order for me! We did a swap of products and she made this as a surprise for me π
Katie, I know Shrinkle. I actually think that this is more flattering than a blunt fringe and I think anyone could have it. I cut it in about a week and a half ago, but hadn't got it quite right myself, so the hairdresser sorted it out!
Looks lovely. Love the colors too.
I got a much better photo this morning
your hair is just perfection! I love it π It suits you so much, love the colours too
Wow. That is just stunning.
I saw it on Instagram earlier today, and it looks fabulous! I wouldn't be able to have a fringe like that though, asymmetric cuts really annoy me (on me anyway, I love how they look on others!), so I just wouldn't be able to do it! Looks like they did a great job of it!
Janine, that's gorgeous! Speaking of hair colours looking different in different lights. I am SOOOO impressed by the colour combinations this photo and how beautifully they coordinate. It's like, when you know what your hair colour looks like in real life, then you post a picture for someone who doesn't know what it looks like, you may see the true colour underneath the wrong lighting in the picture, but others don't... now that I see it under the correct light, I can also see that colour in the first photos, it just looked more purpley-magenta in front. I'm rambling - don't know if I made any sense or not!
I have a question. How did you get the deeper blue strands amidst the purple and turquoise? Is it overlapping of the colours that created it? It's so cool.
I really love the cut on you. As it was said above, the thickness and fullness is beautiful, and the fringe really suits you. Well done... I really love it too!
That is stunning!
Aww thanks again π
Alexia, the darker blue is partly an illusion. When the colour is fresh the light bounces around more and so it does look lots of different shades. However, where there is some, yes it is where the colours have mixed. The pink in the purple has neutralized some of the green and it makes it a dark blue. It'll end up with more dark blue though!
Mindi, I don't like asymmetric styles much either as I have the same weird thing about it feeling off! As I can't see the fringe all the time it doesn't bother me so much. I get more pains from being able to see two different colours beside my face lol
I love this so much janine. It's total perfection ♥
Lovely colour and cut, nice to see you with straight hair too π
