I'd say that when it comes to styling it, you should try making it look scruffy, like a bit of bed head style?
But I'm biased because I love those kind of things.
And I think this video might help you out a bit for ideas, even if the back is a bit too short:
How to Wear Your Mohawk So You Don't Flip Out Part 1
I am watching the video, can skip to 2 minutes beginning is just her essentially preening for the camera and saying what she had done (both sides off, and steps put in)
π
I wish people scripted themselves/edited videos down D:
Ok, I didn't see anything useful π basically just don't cut your hair too short and let it flop over.. dunno if there was something I missed?
LOL. Yeah. She is a bit [lot] rambly. x_x
Well, she was on about how you can make it look like a full fringe or a side fringe, and you don't really have to have it all put back. You can have it flipped over or parted so it covers up the sides if it's thick enough, too, so it just looks like you've got short hair.
Ahh, thanks.. >.< You're much better at summarising than she is Hazillian!
I used to watch video reviews for stuff for my hamsters, and it was just these girls who talked for 12 minutes, and they didn't include ANYTHING useful.. so I mostly just gave up on youtube like that (plus all those girls who give you videos on how to get your hair to their colour and they don't actually help with any of the technical stuff.. π )
thanks hazillian
I literally cant do anything with it now π also have no money till nxt wk to get anything done with it (gonna nip to barbers)
this is how bad it is π
(you can see the silly grey/lilacy bit :/ )
Bad?! I LIKE it like that! :L
A week isn't all that long. I find that when my hair is pooey, just having my hood up makes it look a ton better. Either that or the trusty hats!
you like it??? :/
I feel like I just have a huge blob of hair stuck at the front lol
Ive tried messing it up, and it doesnt look cool it looks like Ive got straight out of bed lol
I think the issue may be that it's all one colour, bed hair looks good with multi-tonal bits going different directions and adding texture, while with one colour this is harder to achieve (with so little hair at least)
Maybe try putting some darker/lighter bits in? or adding some streaks/chunks of your cerise if you have any left over just to make it look more multi dimensional?
Dunno if that helps, but just what I thought might be affecting it?
