Hair weave!

Sooo finally I have pics for you!
Had it in nearly a week, I took some ibuprofen before I had it fitted as it can be very tight and a bit painful but I found it fine. Sleeping for the first few nights was slightly uncomfortable but it's much better now as the weft can move a bit more.

So they basically braid a cornrow across your head, left to middle then right to middle, then sew the weft on!
If I could cornrow I'd be doing this all the time on everyone haha!

Washing my hair is an experience/chore, it's soooo heavy in the shower!! You're supposed to let it air dry but I have this weird thing where I can't stand my hair being wet it makes my skin crawl! I let it dry for a while, then blow dried it, the air dried, then blow dried,etc... The thing that drove me round the bend was the fact that the braid and weft were damp and itchy!! So I had to focus on drying them with the hair dryer to stop me going insane.

So my sewing was a big crap here, I sewed the wefts together and my machine hated it but oh well haha only you guys will see it!!

My hair was quite gross here as it was sooo humid and groggy outside!!

I'd never have anything like this done myself as the only form of extensions I like is wool dreads, but the added length looks nice on you πŸ™‚

Haha yes! Well, no not really actually πŸ˜‰ it does get itchy though. I think it'll be weird to see the natural shed when I take it out though. I think I'll keep it in for 4 weeks πŸ™‚ I used my sleep in rollers the other night, most uncomfortable night ever HA

I have hair envy right now! the length looks so real too! I'd love this done but I get headaches so easily from just my clip ins, so not being able to eaisly take them out and put them back in would be a pain for me I think. I love how vibrant your pink is Meesh!

Oooooo! It looks really well blended and natural!  I've never worn clip-in extensions (other than the clip on ponytails that is!), so I have no constructive comments on ease of wear, etc!  But it does look fab!

Wow that looks amazing!! I am so jealous, i miss having long mermaid hair so much!!

How many rows did you have put in and how many grams of hair was it? I'm terrified of proper extensions after my nightmare with the micro loops pulling mine out but I'd imagine with a weave the weight of the hair is better spread out so you'll lose less hair from it?

There's only three rows and the hair was double wefted because the extensions weren't that good lol! They are my tester ones so they are quite dry and pants really. I'd re buy some if I wanted to have it done again.
They don't seem to pull my hair that much but I think here will be quite a lot of shedding when I take them out. I've shed quite a lot of hair (fake) so I think for nights out etc I'm going to clip in three more wefts inbetween πŸ™‚ my sisters getting hers done too πŸ˜€
