Cut about 7 or 8 inches off. I've needed to do it for ages, a quarter of my hair was just crispy and horrible. I avoided it for years, I've never had hair this short! (obviously doesn't include being a baby/small kid).
Edit: I cut 2 more inches off after this haha.
