I'm currently in the process of going white and trying to do it safely...I thought I'd share my progress 🙂 I started with medium strawberry blonde, and my natural color is a light golden blonde.
From strawberry to platinum...achieved by fading the color for a week with head and shoulders, then bleaching with blue-based bleach. 2 weeks later, a bleach bath and toned with Wella T18

Here is the latest update - I toned again with Wella and use John Frieda purple shampoo every other day, leaving it on for 5 minutes. I'm also using Ion Reconstructor.
Next week I'm switching to Manic Panic semi to tone for less damage and picking up some purple conditioner. No more bleaching planned!
