White toner before pink?

I would really appreciate your help guys!  πŸ˜€

I want to achieve a soft baby pink and have the perfect dye to achieve it (bleach London 'Rose', have used it previously and its awesome.) However, I have an issue and not the know-how to sort it out. Pic attached, sorry its bad, am in low light and trying not to wake up my partner!

The ends of my hair were originally as pale as bleach could get it but a root stretch at the hairdresser's with a permanent brunette colour stained my ombre tips upon being washed out. I've vitamin C'd the hell out of it and am now back to a pale but rather yellow blonde as I've stayed away from purple shampoos and toners in order to get all the accidental pigment out and get back to bare bones bleach! I think I will do a couple more vitamin C treatments to get it back to clean bleached blonde before putting any colour on there but am thinking ahead πŸ™‚

I do have a box of Colour B4 but am scared that if I use it on my ombre I will get a bit of a straight line dip dye effect. Vitamin C seems to be gradually doing the trick right now unless you think Colour B4 is a safe option?

SORRY! Finally to the question. Would it be a good idea to use a white toner on my tips to get the hair as white as can be and combat the brassiness and then going for the baby pink dye? Or would you go straight to the baby pink? I really don't want yucky brassiness showing through and purple toner and shampoo tends to get it quite silvery-white. I know the colour wheel isn't always as logical as you'd like it to be! Thanks in advance for your help, it is so very much appreciated!

It's virtually impossible to tell from the photo really, sorry. Rose pink needs white though. I've never used it, but it's incredibly pale and lightly pigmented that it just doesn't show on anything darker than white or almost white. Even then some people haven't got it to work. From what it looks like there, even using purple shampoo isn't going to get it white enough. As I say though, it's hard to say from that photo. But yes, do use the purple shampoo anyway.

Personally. I suggest getting a dark pink dye and diluting it. That way you can adjust the level of pink so you can get a pink that is still a soft pale pink, but will still actually work. If it comes out a bit too dark, it will fade down and then likely even stay longer. Personally, I don't really rate the London dyes highly at all. They don't have enough pigment in them which makes them incredibly expensive as you have to redye a lot.

Janineb Thank you so much! I need to lighten it more with patience and washing as I don't want to damage it. The staining has already lifted a huge deal, it was dark grey at first! Now its yellow blonde.

Would you apply a white toner prior to the pink dye to cancel out the warm tones?

Which pink would you suggest to dilute? I want a real, real baby pink which fades to more of a peach than a cool tone. I know the Bleach London pigment doesn't last long but the colour is utterly beautiful and exactly what I'm trying to achieve. What would be a great dupe? THANK YOU!  *hugs*
