which red dye to use?

So I have ginger/red hair now, and as i'm pretty sure you all know it's a bitch to sustain. mine is dyed with this permanent dye and i found it really good, but it still fades really quickly.

I don't want to keep dyeing with permanent colors all the time and thought i'd try using a semi-permanent (directions, cuz thats all my country offers) red/auburn dye to touch it up between dyes? do any of you have experience with that? do they stick to unbleached hair at all? what tone directions do you think would be the most flattering? i thought maybe mandarin mixed with coral or flame?

this is the current color and how i'd like to keep it - any tips are appreciated!

No need to worry about it sticking to unbleached hair. Your hair IS effectively bleached. Permanent dyes have peroxide in them which lightens and roughens up the hair, exactly like bleach.

Mandarin with coral should work well. You can mix it in your conditioner to use every time you wash which will top up your colour well on it's own. Also, read this thread for tips on keeping colour vibrant. http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php?topic=11009.0
