Which purple dye is this?

Difficult to say which it is for sure, but it's an effect most dyes have, some more obvious then others. Even natural colours do the same.

looks a bit like diluted pravana violet to me. It will also be the different lighting effecting how the colour picks up on the camera I suspect, loads of times when I took photos when I had purple hair it would look pinky, then the next minute bluey, just because of slight changes to light. My hair always did this when it was my natural colour, sometimes it looked black, sometimes looked a red colour, sometimes looked dark brown, not as obvious as it is on bright hair colours though of course!

i have pimpin purple right now and some areas are deep purple in some light the pimpin purple is bright pink, then at times it's bright purple. i diluted it with conditioner and it is only a little darker then the hair in the video

I'd guess it's diluted Manic Panic Ultra Violet, maybe Lie Locks. Here's a pic of me in fluorescent, natural, and incandescent light with Ultra Violet. Please excuse my I-just-woke-up-and-look-like-a-bridge-troll face:

i actually have undiluted pimpin purple right now too 🙂 and it does alternate between bright pink and purple 🙂 i figure the one in the video is more blue toned purple.  ;D
