I personally love the results from Bright Daffodil which is a very bright yellow and fades to almost a banana colour. Fluorescent Glow is the other Directions yellow which is also nice but I think Daffodil is best.  You can see all colours by individual brand/shade here: http://www.hairdyegallery.co.uk/Gallery-brand.html

i used directions bright daffodil on my fringe a while ago and i loved it, but it seemed to fade pretty fast on me.
beautiful colour though, much more yellowy than the fluorescent one.

I haven't used it but I love the Bright Daffidol too, especially on Tasha in the gallery. Looks great.

yeah, yellow is the hardest to keep in your hair i hear. but its the hardest to get out ¬¬ i used directions white toner! two washes nd its out! am so guttered! i used 3/4 of a pot on my hair! so am gunna superdrug to get their toner! apprently its better nd lasts longer! i was using silver shampoo every other wash as well. so it isnt a yellow as it was before cos i shampooed it with silver shampoo last time i washed it nd thts when the white toner disappeared from my hair. xxxxxxxxxx

Stargazer washes out quite quickly if you're looking to change soon after. They do a yellow but I don't know what it's like or how good it is. I use Stargazer all the time in my hair and I do fine with it but I only wash my hair once a month or maybe less as I have dreads.

I used daffodil and found it was a bit too flourescent at first, but nicer after the first wash.
