OK so my hair is nearly light enough to put a colour over, but now I can't decide which!!!! I bought Bleach London Washed Out Orange but now I am not sure if I want pastel...Maybe I do though. I am leaving dark roots so bare that in mind.
I had orange before... orange again?

I think I am tempted to do a blue or green for the Winter so I am thinking something warm now. Maybe yellow??? Or back to orange? Or something else?

I think if you're thinking of doing something pastel you should do it now, that way it will wash out fast and you can do Orange instead if you want to. Doing Orange first will kill your paleness for ages. Orange does look good on you though πŸ™‚

If you want blues/greens, then don't do red/orange first.  If you try to put green over red or blue over orange, you'll end up muddy!

What about purple?  It's a nice, rich colour and you should be able to go blue or green relatively easily from it.

Yellow will make it fairly easy to go green too. But how light is your hair right now?

It would go orange v easy right now, it's lighter than it used to be when I did orange. I'm bring impatient, I have pastel orange and pastel blue in my cupboard!

Right now following a purple shampoo. A little damp still and the lights not great. I'd say it's a bit yellower than it looks in the pic, or maybe thats because I've been trying to unyellow it and I'm seeing it more than it has?
So I think it's still too yellowy for blues and greens but I'm not loving the blonde.

You could definitely put a green on that now, use a more blue toned green so that the yellow will pull it more towards a true green maybe? I think a shade like peacock blue by crazy colour would work for that,  and the whiter streaks would show up more blue. You could put a darker blue over that too. Just not a pale one. Peacock blue is a green/blue shade. Not a true blue at all.

(I don't actually rate crazy colour loads, but that one shade is really pretty.)

It's so hard to choose!!!! I was thinking yellow because I googled images crazy colours canary yellow and found some nice looks, but I'm worried it might just look like bad blonde. I have always wanted green and blue will go best with my clothes and make up etc. argggh.
I just checked the blue I have, I don't think I have enough to dye my full head anyway but I have enough to use for future toning purposes.

I think if you have a streak of another colour with the yellow it will be obvious it intentional and not 'bad blonde' lol
You can then go green if that is the colour you have always wanted, then blue afterwards

I don't really want to do a streak as I have just come from 2 white stripes (occasionally blue stripes). Also I have left my natural dark roots so don think a streak will fit with the messiness.

Maybe a gradient instead? Yellow to green to blue? Or orange tips?

But then it would be 3 colours? Brown, colour 1, colour 2!
I'm going for this kind of vibe...

Except not pink, and a colour that will go over what I have now without bleaching again.

Ok crazy colour peacock blue, how many bottles to cover shoulder length, fairly thick hair?

Umm I would guess maybe two, I would buy two and then if you don't use it all you still have some spare. Crazy colour isn't too expensive so I would buy extra if you're worried about it covering.
