I have been pillarbox red for a while but have let it fade out and now have about 2 inch pink and the rest dirty pale coral orange. I am really trying to avoid reaching for the bleach again as after Olapex treatments and using Redken extreme for quite some time, it's now in decent condition after getting rid of black to be able to go red.
So now I am a bit.....stuck. I am totally bored of red but want to keep it funky..... any suggestions of a colour that will go over this mishmash (like the old 1p fruit salad sweets) hair colour without making it muddy.
Eventually I'd like to go dark grey to lilac but only when my hair can look peroxide in the eye again 😁

I think any purple could cover that well, but it'd be easier to say if you shared a picture 🙂 The only one's I can recommend form personal experience are dark tulip and plum (directions)

Yeah, purple is a good choice if what I'm imagining sounds like what you're describing. Pravana Violet is a good strong one too.
Directions Plum may cause problems as it's very strongly blue-based and tends to stain blue as well, which could be difficult to remove. (It semi-recently changed formula.)

So this is my current colour....it needs fading some more so will be chucking the Vitamin c and head and shoulders on this week.
Do you think would purple cover this?

Hahah sorry, I am a bit of a forum n00b!
Hopefully this is better ;D
I may even risk a light bleach bath to take it a little lighter on the orange parts before popping the purple on.
