This is the red I would love to have, which semi-permanent colours do you think?    (I don't look quite like the lady in the picture though LOL)

You can try one of the adore hair dyes. I haven't used any of their more natural colors so i cant really help with which one but have a look at the swatches on beeunique.

Thank you Allie. I've tried a bunch of the Adore dyes but can't seem to get the colour I want!  I was wondering if I need to use another red colour from one of the other lines.  In the meantime my next plan is going to be trying Adore paprika straight (without mixing with another colour) and see what happens.  I'm really not too happy with the cinnamon, cajon spice and French cognac I have right now.  I mixed 1 bottle cinnamon, 1/2 bottle Cajun spice and some French cognac.  It looks dark and really not very red or orange at all. Maybe it'll be nicer when it fades a bit.

Update - it's hard to find right now but I got my hands on two bottles of Adore Paprika and I have it sitting on my hair right now!

It's much better thanks!  Though right now it's still too dark from the previous mixture using mostly cinnamon.  I'm not too bothered though because it will rinse out before too long and I will just keep using paprika after that.  I think I finally figured out what I've been doing wrong with these semi perm colours.  I've been choosing colours the same way as if they were permanent.  But they are much more transparent!  Since my permanent base already has brown in it I really didn't need to be adding more brown.  Wish it hadn't taken me so long to finally work that out!
