Okey so I'm currently about to go completly nuts cuz I'm surrounded by people that doesn't know s**t about anything it seems like but my hair color at the moment you can see on the picture its purpleish and I would say its pretty much how it looks in real life looks a bit bright obv in bright light and the sun (and dismiss my face I'm tired and just gotten home from a hard day of work xD) but anyhow I have this picture in my head of a color I want its red but like a red with a more purple tone to it I would say and a bit darker not super mega screamy but just a few notches down still bright but not super bright if you have a look at the picture of the red hair its kind of what I have got pictured in my head but then I'm super unsure how the hell I'm supposed to get it like that I have had a super bright red hair with more of an pink tone to it that was easy but this I'm just feeling completly confused xD So any ideas or know how to would be AMAZING π
I think if you put a darker pink toned red like blood red over what you have now you should get something similar.
I was thinking that maybe something like that would work but I'm still worried it wont get red and bright enough cuz I think my purple is pretty dark and it feels like doing like that it either get pretty close or it get really really bad :/
You could always fade your purple a bit before applying. I think you'd only need to lighten it a shade or two for it to work.
Yeah maybe try that, could you recommend any red color? guessing I should go for a red with pink tones not orange.. I have only used special effects cherry bomb when it comes to red colors and that one if I remember correct should have pink tones.. π
update:
After some thought I don't think it will be a good idea cuz I have been thinking of getting extensions and getting the same color on them would be really hard, so I was thinking if I could like bleach my hair and dye it a darker blond/light brown color and then add a red dye with pink tones on to that to get it darker but still vibrant?
Why would it be difficult to dye the extensions? Most extensions are already processed, so all you'd need to do is dilute the purple to match your base and then put the red on top again.
Your suggested plan isn't a great one ... bleaching your hair only to put a darker colour on it is a bad idea, not only because it's double processing if you're using a permanent colour, but permanent colours aren't designed to be used over freshly bleached hair and it may turn an odd shade. Additionally, bleached hair (especially freshly bleached hair) is extra porous, so it will not only go a different shade than you'd intended, it'd be a more intense version of that shade because it will soak the colour up.
I still say the easiest and safest way is to fade your current colour out a little bit, and then put a darker pink based red like Blood Red over the top. Recreating the look on a set of extensions shouldn't be too difficult--mixing colours is like mixing paint, so if you want a lighter version, dilute it down with some white (conditioner).
I dont know really cuz I right now my roots are showing to pretty much even cuz I have been lazy about them and and maybe 1-2cm from my where my roots ends I got a like a more pink color cuz the color have faded more on top that the rest so which means I have to bleach my roots and somehow get my hair in the same color and putting the same color I already got on top of it will just make it even darker made that mistake once wanted to touch up the color overall turned up much darker purple which in this case will go in the opposite direction than I want to cuz I want it lighter not darker purple.. and also this purple bare fade anything at my lengths only like the top part closes my roots I haven't touched up this color in like 2months now cuz it got to dark and I wanted it to be lighter but yeah this purple color isnt really working with me xD

I don't know if it's just me who make everything more complicated or what but I just don't want to end up with a color I hate and then have to totally redo it, but I was thinking cuz of my roots and faded top parts if maybe I could bleach my hair and then put in the same purple I used but dilute it cuz it feels kind of impossible to get the new bleached roots and the more faded purple that are more pink to get the same color as my lengths..
You can bleach your roots and put a diluted purple over the top to get the same base, or you could mix the purple and Blood Red with conditioner to get a colour match to a strand test.
I don't think there's any need to bleach your lengths ... I'd just try to fade it using some of these methods.
Sorry for the super late response have been super busy and really thanks for your answers but after a lot of thoughts and such I have decided to not go red for the time being not at least for quite some time, for the simple reason of not feeling like I have the energy with all the hard work of keeping it vibrant and pretty π
