I want to dye some 1b hair extensions to a violet red brown hair color. Similar to the attached pictures. I was looking at One n only Argan Oil Hair color in 3rv and Redken's 3rv. Which is better to use? I know I have to lighten. But I also want some redder subtle highlights going through the hair like in the picture. Online I saw the suggestion to use Redken 3rv merlot and 5rv Sangria. But how to add the highlights to the extensions?
Help is needed and appreciated! Want it to be perfect. Thanks

I cant really help with the color choice but i wanted to point out that extensions do not lighten well as they have been chemically processed. It is best to get light colored ones and dye them darker than the other way around.
