Turquoise to royal blue help

Hi guys

I’ve been dying my hair with mani panic atomic turquoise for about 6 months but I wanna change to a royal blue. I know they’re close on the colour wheel but I’ve never done a massive change myself. I’ve had a lot of bad salon experiences. Any advice? Pic of my current hair is the one with the long roots/ombré! Other one is what I would like (probably still ombré).

Thanks!
Jo

Use a purple toned blue at the top, the purple will tone the yellow and it'll come out more royal blue. Use turquoise on the bottom as usual, but you might need to add a touch of green as the purple blue will be stronger and will likely tone it a bit as you rinse it.

Do you think crazy colour Capri blue would be okay for the tops and mids?

I would say, on it's own capri isn't purple enough. You could just add a little purple as it doesn't appear to be a green based blue.

It might be a good option actually. You could try doing it this way instead...

Use purple shampoo to tone what you have on the roots to a more proper blue. Leave it on for 5 mins, if it's not enough do it again.

Then you can use the capri on the roots and a turquoise on the ends 🙂 Put the turquoise higher than you actually want it because the darker blue will almost certainly bleed into the turquoise a fair bit.
