Yup, it's only hair. That's why I dunno what all the fuss is about us having it bright colours. We're just projecting what we are, bright happy people!

I'm 35 with an 8yr old and a 2yr old and I have currently got Poppy Red streaks in my hair, my last colour was Carnation pink and the next one will be blue! πŸ™‚

A xXx

Sounds just like my dad too lololol.Im 41 and started dyeing hair bright colours just before my 40th,Ive always been "alternative" and had few wacky colours styles when I was younger too, I reckon he thought Id grow out of it hahaha.Ive had mynose pierced over 10 yrs and he`s only just stopped moaning about that, ive had 4 tattoos since I last saw him,due to see again at easter but I`ll prob wear summat to cover them cant be doing with the lyrics he`ll give me.My mum`s not really into y hair but isnt too bothered, she liked my last colour though think it was Cyclamen

My mum likes my pink hair, dad's always kept quiet about it hich means he's not so keen. Gran wants my dreads and pinkness off like it's a disease but hubby and kids love it. I've had some bad comments in public but not many and only mild. The worst comments by far came from my grandmother. It's so hard when it's family coz you have to live with them. At least if a stranger said it you could say something back without fear of repercussions.

I just saw this thread and it's a topic that has been on my mind recently too as I'm getting closer to 30. I think bright hair colour is something that can look better on more mature women, it can be so striking and almost always comes off very design conscious and confident. Whereas sometimes with a teenager or younger woman it can come across as either experimental, reckless or a soft but desperate rebellion attempt (which are all still fun!)

and I'm not sure if I can post these youtube links as I'm new, hopefully I can because maybe some people will find them inspiring (I did!)

Never too old for crazy colors, I wish more people would have then around πŸ™‚
Also I never got negative comments unless it was from some stupid teenage boys, which isnt actually "bad", but just very retarded in a way of "woha look at you, PINK HAIR!" xD
