So I was dying my hair today (dissertation is due in two days. I had to find something to cool down with for an hour.) And after it had been on my hair for about an hour I noticed that parts of the rose red dye had turned metallic green.
Like bright metallic shiny beetle wing green. And then it washed off completely normally.
That's so weird. I've never seen that before. I have seen old dyes turn metallic but never a different color. Maybe something stuck to it.
What was even stranger was that when I poked the green bit it turned my finger pink still. Which I thought made it seem like it was actually the dye being weird, not having axcidently got something else on my hair, which is what I originally thought.
I remember the same happening with someone and , I think, nuclear red a couple of years ago. I can't remember any details though!
Oh yeah, now you mention that I remember. It's seriously odd.
That's really weird, I once had a metallic neon yellow sheen on Nuclear Red - it made me look like Cyndi Lauper til I rinsed it and it was completely normal! It looked pretty cool actually!
