The old "Now What?" again

Ok so after having to prematurely wash the bleach off due to accidentally self-inflicted burning, I'm left with orange hair (see attachment)

It's not absolutely horrific but it's also not what I want.  I was hoping to get light enough for turquoise, using Adore Aquamarine.  I think I could probably achieve that with a bleach bath (after recovery time) but in the meantime I'm walking around like a living flame.  It's not even hat weather this time!

Option 1: Forget turquoise for the time being and go straight to Adore Violet Gem which is a very pink-based purple - but would it cover this?  What result might I get?

Option 2: Stay on the path to turquoise by being patient but for the moment try to tone it down a bit with a diluted blue/purple.  ... but do I risk muddiness there?

What would you do?

(In the past I might have listed option 3 as f*** it, bleach bath tomorrow but NOOOO.  See?  I'm learning πŸ˜‰ )

I wonder if you could cover that with a darker teal for now? I'm not well up on purples but I've used Direcions violet over my faded reddish brown and it still looked purple so maybe it'll be ok? Not much help but just wanted to offer my sympathies!

I was just thinking that I have some Alpine green in mine and even over a dark red/ brown base it's pretty vibrant (and obviously in theory the red should muddy the green, but somehow it doesn't) the only thing is though it seems pretty much permanent, I think I last did mine about 6 months ago and it's still in there! But I think a darkish teal could be more forgiving and it might soothe your craving for aquamarine/ blue a bit!

Yeah, darker teal works well on that colour generally. A good interim colour for turquoise too.

So the next obvious question: what dye(s) do I need for dark teal?

I've already got Adore Aquamarine and a few blues & purples but nothing green ...

Alpine green, with maybe some blue added as you'll lose some of that when it tones the orange tones. I've used it fairly recently and had no problems with it sticking too much. It should fade well enough for turquoise anyway.

Alpine green is what I've been using, and I've examined mine today and whilst it is still in there it's faded enough that you would be able to get turquoise over it easily!
