Subtle pastel colours?

Hi everyone! πŸ™‚

Do you think I could dye pastel colours in my hair? Or is it too dark? It looks like the second one in (the blonde section) after it has been highlight lifted and the last one before it has.

This is what I want it to look like:

I know in the picture it was using chalk, but I was wondering if you could do the same with dye.

Thanks in advance and hope you can help. πŸ™‚

You need to tone to white for pastels, especially that pale. Her blond is too dark for dye. Use a silver shampoo, left on for around 5 mins, to tone.

Thanks for the reply. πŸ™‚ I had no idea it was that simple.  *thx*

A question: What colour will it make my hair and how often do I need to use it?

Thanks. πŸ™‚

Silver toner tones to white. If left on too long it will go silver, if left on longer than that it will go lilac. They will both wash out pretty quickly though if that happens.

Pastels that pale will probably wash out with a couple of washes, maybe even each wash, so you'd likely have to use the silver shampoo each wash and redye the colours.

What she has in her hair is a new wash by loreal.  A girl at my hairdressers used it and she said it really dries the hair and it only lasted two washes. Its not meant to last long, thats why its so light in color. It is just liquid hair chalk.
