the fade just gets weirder haha!

I'm not sure what to do next - it seems strong purples just do not stick well on my hair... i loved being turquoise/teal but i'm not sure how to get my hair to the right colour to dye over it (bleach doesn't do much to pink!) - would a strong teal cover something like this if i get on the usual fading techniques (head and shoulders usually works best on my hair!)

I love that fade, haha. I bet if you tried to do something like that on purpose it'd be hard. I've covered a lighter pink with turquoise too, it pulled it to the bluer side.

it looks nicer in the pics than in real life - the light in that room really makes my hair colours pop!
I have a pot of Enchanted Forest knocking about, so i might try that on it if the base pulls to the blue-er way of turquoise (plus even if it doesn't, it's a yummy colour!)

LOL so i dyed it last night (whoops Directions Alpine Green not Enchanted Forest like i keep calling it)

I mixed in some Lagoon Blue and Turquoise that i had left knocking about

My hair is pretty green, argh a little bit too green!

I still have some lagoon blue left... would chucking the rest of that over it maybe help make it more teal? I'll upload a photo in a bit

You can try with lagoon blue but you might need a stronger blue to actually pull the colour away from green. I don't think lagoon blue is too highly pigmented.

i might give it a whirl on Friday night, it needs using up (i found so many pots of colour with little bits in!) if not i will either change my mind and like or order something stronger!

I always found Lagoon blue too wishy washy to affect any mixes. If it is too green make a toner with pink, it will pull it back towards blue.

hmmm i literally just want to tip that green balance a lil closer to blue, if it doesn't do anything i will get some pink to tone (would never have thought of that)
Parts are more teal, even some bluer streaks, but there's a lot of that sort of really foresty grassy tone of green and i don't like it at all.

here's a pic

Ironically it looks really blue whenever i try and get a photo  i promise it is very green in real life XD in the photos is looks like what i want it to look like!

i'm half tempted get hold of some midnight blue and go darker if not

It looks great in the pics! I can never get accurate photos of my hair, when it was silver it looked a combo of white/pink/browny blonde/ green and lilac in pictures.
Midnight blue should work, it is dark but has a green fade.

cool, that's probably going to be the best option as i do love that colour anyway, so i don't mind having some spare lying around! I don't have any pink at all for toning, and i'd probably not need much...seems like a waste where as i'm always happy to chuck some midnight blue on anytime!

I'm sure this pot of ebony i have open is the old sort (green/blue toned), i used it to do dark teal last Xmas but it looked really red-toned in the pot so i didn't dare mix any in. Maybe that's what happens if it's been open too long.
