hi gurlz i was asking myself what about special effects hairdye? i was thinkin to nuclear red

I think you will have much better results from Special Effects. Directions seem to have changed their reds recently, and they are not as pigmented as they used to be, some of the colours are quite translucent now.
Nuclear Red would be a great choice for you.

It is on the orange side, so should counteract the pink that you don't want.

Also I would stick with special effects personally. They are super pigmented and long lasting.
