Hi,
My hair is bleached from mid to ends, it was dyed with Igora 9.98 20 days ago. A permanent dye, yes. But with my bleached hair it hasn't lasted long at all.. I have been rocking this faded hair for a week now. 🙁
Well I want to go back to a purple color, which I used to when I had my hair entirely bleached. I only have access to La Riche Directions dye. I don't want to use Plum or Violet or Midnight Blue. I have seen it fades to a green and I don't really want to risk it. Neon Blue with Tulip would be a nice mix? Cerise? Would Ebony help tone it down to a more dark purple?
I didn't even make the question if my base is even okay to dye purple over it... Is it?
I have attached the current color my hair is so you have an idea of what my base looks like right now.
(it might look colored but in the sun it reflects the tone, my ends are almost completely not dyed)

Hi, is there a reason you don't want to use Plum or Violet as they would be much easier to lighten or darken to the purple shade you require. Failing that mixing a blue and pink dye should give a nice purple result but make sure to mix up more than you need so you have extra for top-ups or parts you may have missed - it would be very difficult to mix up the same shade again.
The Hair Dye Gallery is having a massive overhaul just now but you can still see photos in the purple section where people have mixed direction dyes to get purple - might help you decide which shades to try. Purple Hair Dye Photos

The only reason for not using Plum or Violet is because of people saying it fades to a green.... I'd like to avoid that.
Or do you think that since my hair as a magenta base, plum or violet won't fade to green/blue? Sorry I am bit of a newbie about this.

They fade to blue. They only fade green when the hair colour dyed over is very, very yellow. They also turn green if you bleach them. As your hair is pink, no, it won’t go green.
