Silver hair with 1" roots - How to cover but keep roots?

Hey guys!

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I need a bit of help as I'm stumped. I've had pretty much every hair colour under the sun. At the moment I have silvery blonde hair (the tips are super silver but the underneath is a bit yellowy) I also have root regrowth of about 1.5" which I'm weirdly kind of fond of (its nice to see my natural colour after so long!) I wondered if there was any way I could dye the bleached part of my hair but leave the roots natural? I have attached some pics for reference!

I'm looking to achieve a darker, ashy blonde. Basically a more natural look.

Yup yup, it's easy, just use a semi permant dye or toner, which will only dye the bleached parts of your hair.

Superdrug has a line of semi permanent toners that include warm blondes. (colour effects maybe? That might not be the right name though). Or you could get a brown dye by the brand adore and dilute it down for aa blonde shade.
