So, I'm dying my hair purple with blue tips, I'm using Arctic Fox's Purple rain and Aquamarine. My mom thinks i should bleach it, but I didn't think i needed to because my hair is blonde, but its a golden blonde and my roots have really grown out (my hair is medium brown id say, like between a 6-7 more towards 6). So should i bleach it, and if so, with what? Or should i see a professional?

Can you post a photo?
You'd need to at least do a very weak bleach to make it stick for more than a couple of washes.
The yellow in golden blonde hair will also turn blue more green, so aqua will turn out more on the green side than blue.

I tried to post a picture but it was too big, sorry 🙁 Do you have any suggestions for bleach, i was thinking about using the loreal quick blue, with salon care 20v would that be appropriate? I also havent died my hair in about a year, maybe more so the most damage it has is heat damage from straightening it but i use heat spray
