Hello all!
I live in Canada, and it's currently impossible to find SFX in my city (the local suppliers have all grown frustrated with the constant SFX shortages & months long waits between shipments, so they're switching to other brands.) I also can't find my colour, Blue Velvet, for sale anywhere online (every site I've checked says it's Sold Out.)
So I'm thinking of checking out other brands...has anyone tried Arctic Fox yet? http://arcticfoxhaircolor.com/ The place I usually go to buy SFX recently stopped carrying it, but brought in Arctic Fox instead. They claim the longevity is just the same as SFX, but I'm worrying they're just saying that to sell some (I've never tried a semi-permanent hair dye that lasted in my hair as long as SFX.) In addition, I like blues that fade to purple, not green. So I'm guessing I might have to mix a (potentially green based?) blue with a purple if I use AF. Any tips on this?
Thanks in advance <3
I haven't used it myself but have heard nothing but good things about it.

Great, thanks! I also looked online and found some great reviews, but for new products I'm always suspicious that the company is buying good reviews or something :p I guess the only way to find out is to try it.
And post about your results if you do try it! I'm intrigued to see how good the band is also π
The manic panic color asylum salon use arctic fox a lot and the colors always look great. It might be worth looking at their instagram as the post a lot of result pictures.
Really?! Aren't they supposed to use Manic Panic?
I heard the Bleach London salons use Crazy Colour too lol.

They use both. Haven't seen them use anything apart from those two brands though.

I definitely will! I'm dyeing on Friday so will probably wait at least a few weeks to see how the longevity is. But after that I'll make a detailed post about it π
