Sfx pimpin purple and bleached hair

Hi! This my first post to the forum (besides the introduction) I hope I posted it on the right thread. I recently bleached my whole natural black hair for the first time (with 2" previously bleached ombre tips) to a pale yellow/yellow orange color. The thing is, when I bleached the already bleached ombre tips it went to platinum white while my previously natural black hair went to the pale yellow with a patch of light yellow orange and my roots went brassy orange. I already toned it with Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner but I couldn't get the base to even out. I was so excited to go to purple I just went with it and covered my hair with Special Effects Pimpin Purple. I loved the end result! I was able to achieve the purple I wanted. But my question is, once the color fades what will happen to the orange roots and the patch of yellow orange? Will the pimpin purple fade to an ugly brown? I would appreciate it if someone could answer my question. Thanks! I've attached photos of my bleached hair if it helps.

/edit: once the undiluted pimpin purple fades to a pink/muddy color, can i touch up my hair with a diluted pimpin purple color and will i get a pastel purple color if i do that? thanks in advance πŸ™‚

It will fade more muddy than the rest of your hair, but might not be too bad. And you can just reapply the dye and it will look fine again.

Thanks for the reply.  ;D

But if I wanted to change my color to pastel purple/lavender, when my hair fades to pink/muddy do i just dye it a diluted purple or use a color stripper or can I bleach over it then dye it?

Yes, once the purple fades you will need to bleach your base again to get it plae enough for a pastel collour (which need a really pale platinum base).

Make sure you use fading treatments to get all of the purple dye out of your hair again before you bleach it again to avoid possile weird colours from bleaching out purple.

Thank you for answering my question again.  *lovestars*

But by fading treatments, can I just do head & shoulders shampoo til it really fades and do a bleach bath after? I haven't seen any color strippers in health and beauty stores where I'm from so I might have to fade it without the help of the color stripper.

Also, is pimpin purple blue or violet based? If it's blue, is it possible that it toned out the orangey parts of my hair? Is that even possible?

I'm so sorry for all my newbie questions. This is the first time I did full head so I'm really clueless.  *stars*

Pimpin purple is pink based so it will fade to a magenta shade, then a hot pink, eventually a light pink which will look redder on an orangey base.

Ohhhh! It's pink based. *thx*

So, I took a nap and decided I'm getting too ahead of myself. Lol! My hair is still in this shade (attached photo) and I'm taking precautions to make it last awhile. I will worry about my pastel lavender shade when the color fades. Thanks so much for the answers!  *lovestars*

My hair's condition also drastically improved since I had a brazilian blowout treatment. I'm hoping the treatment helped seal the color a bit more.

It looks great! SFX dyes are really long lasting, so you should be purple for many weeks to come.
