SFX Nuclear Red: YOUR experiences

Hi everyone πŸ™‚ hope everyone's really well
I think I really like the results of Nuclear red by Special effects. My aim is to get bright, tomato red, that's not too light or pastely, not too orange, and not to pink. Should I dilute this hair dye if going over blonde base? What's the staying power? How does it fade? Orange?
Thanks so much for any input!
The image is what I'm going for basically:)

I feel like (and I might be wrong in this, if so I'm sorry!) intempestivity uses a mix of nuclear red and cherry bomb to get a true red. So I'm guessing it's Orange leaning as I think cherry bomb is pink leaning. Sorry if I'm misremembering!

The colour is also dependent on your base. Isn't your hair currently blue/turquoise? You may have to dye over a faded version of that, it isn't always easy( or necessary) to get back to blonde.

I find nuclear very orange leaning and fades on the orange side, so definitely mix with a pinky red. It does also cover a multitude of sins on a base! And it'll also take a lot of diluting before the colour is affected and lasts very well, even with dilution.

Thanks for the answers! πŸ™‚ I may buy pinky red in order not to end up with orange hair πŸ™‚ I want orange leaning red, not orange lol :p

Yup, my hair is turquoise now, and I already bought colour B4, will attempt the oils and bleach powder method, as well as head & shoulders, to try and fade it as much as I can, planning to get it to blonde, with as little green as possible, and then put red over it πŸ™‚

Any other good fading methods you know of other than these I've already mentioned that work really well? I heard of Vitamin C and Coca-cola lol, are they any good? Thanks once again girls, you're amazing!

This is true.  A 50/50 mix of Nuclear and Cherry Bomb leans orange (Nuclear on its own is very orange), and I personally like my reds to be a touch on the pink side, so I do a 25/75 mix.

I love the mix, though.  I call it the Nuclear Bomb mix and it's my favourite.
