semi's that cover greys?

OK so I've decided to grow out my natural hair colour, but I am getting a fair few greys, so will need to dye over them. I would prefer a semi dye as I would like to grow out my virgin hair and because my scalp is very sensitive lately due to health issues. Are there any dyes that are for grey coverage that are semis? I've only seen permanent dyes for covering grey and I'm guessing that would be just as harsh as using bleach? Is my best and gentlest option to do a very quick bleach bath on the roots and then use an adore dye? Thanks in advance x

The Adore Plus range is designed to cover grey hair. If you want to use regular Adore, you can try pre-softening with just peroxide

Adore covered my greys no problem.

Was that without any pre-softening or bleaching Tabitha? I havent tried adore on my roots as it doesn't stick well to virgin hair so i assumed it wouldn't stick to greys either

It was! It's been maybe three or four weeks now and the greys haven't re-appeared yet. I only have a few but one is right at the front and says HELLO quite loudly so I will be able to see when it raises its ugly head again πŸ˜‰

My hair does seem to take dye well though.

sorry I thought I had replied! I will see if it will cover my greys, if not I will pre-soften as I'm sure that won't be too harsh. Couldn't find anywhere in UK that stocks the adore plus range, but fingers crossed the usual adore will cover. Thanks! x

Edited to add - The adore covered my greys  *yay*
